Los Angeles FC have announced the capture of Norwegian forward Adama Diomande from Championship strugglers Hull City.
The 28-year-old joined the club in the nick of time as the International Transfer Window closed on 1st May, and he occupies an international slot on the club’s roster.
It was head coach Bob Bradley who was keen on signing Diomande, with the forward having bagged 25 goals in 26 matches under his command at Stabaek in Norway.
However, the Norway international hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth in England, scoring mere 6 goals in 49 league appearances.
Diomande was not the only player to join Los Angeles FC before the transfer window closed as Lee Nguyen also arrived in a trade with New England Revolution.
